Unlike true Virtual Private Servers which are Kernel-based Virtual Machines and allow you to independently manage the settings of the OS kernel, Cloud Containers share core resources of the kernel with the main system.

Virtuozzo Containers are delivered without any pre-configured or automated backups - it is customer's responsibility to manage backups from within the customer portal. Containers come without any control panel so you should be comfortable with managing them from console, over SSH.
These containers are perfect for running a dedicated web, mysql or a mail server. We can also offer you a fully managed solution (based on Virtuozzo Containers) so that you can focus on business growth instead on infrastructure - if you are interested, please contact us for a custom quote.
